Folks, Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season, whatever holiday you celebrate. Bonnie and I are fine, just got a Christmas tree yesterday. Bonnie and I willdeorate it soon with the help of our friend and helper Angela. Anyway, I have a rather light week, our regular La Fiesta Lounge dates and a date at Second Street Brewery. Speaking the La Fiesta Lounge, we have four more Mon/Tue, before the renovation of the La Fiesta Lounge begins. The La Fiesta will be closed until reopening in early March. We originally thought our last Mon/Tue would be the last of Dec. but the contractor will not begin work until Wed of the first week of January. Therefore, WE WILL BE PLAYING THE FIRST MON/TUE 1/4/5 OF 2016. After the first week with trio, I will be performing SOLO behind the main restaurant at the La Fonda, beside the kiva fireplace from 6/830PM on Mon/Tue. Also, the trio will play one Mon on Jan 25th in the New Mexico Room, also behind the restaurant at La Fonda, from 7/10PM W/bar and dance floor set-up. We hope to do another in Feb. This is a two month renovation project. We are in discussion with Tiny’s Restaurant and Lounge, St Francis Dr and Cerrillos Rd, here in town, about doing a couple of Thu night dances in Feb. Looks good, will let you know when we nail it down solid. Hope to see you soon, and you make note, that Bonnie is PLANNING, health permitting, to come to the La Fiesta Lounge for our Tue 12/22 date before Christmas, and help me song a fewt Christmas songs. She will do her best to be there for sure. Have a great week, as the late Chuck Pyle says, “keep’er steady”. Very true, especially this time of year. Best to all, and much love. Bonnie and I are both hangin’ in there, hope all of you are doing the same. Still waiting on word about Bonnie’s assistance dog plan. A little disappointing. Anyway, hope to have a meeting with Assistance Dogs Of The West here in Santa Fe next week and stick a cattle prod underneath them to get moving. We hope all of you have a great Thanksgiving, and be thankful we all made to another one. Bonnie and I are truly blessed to have so many great fans and friends in this world, and we value every one of you, whether you’re on our email list or not. Those of you who might be heading up to Santa Fe, to visit friends or family, remember I’ll be with my trio alkl through the holiday season at the La Fiesta Lounge at the La Fonda Hotel every Mon/Tue evenings. The La Fiesta will be going under a two month remodel beginning the week starting Jan 4th. However, we’ll be playing on Mon/Tue in a venue in the Hotel as yet to be determined. Mon/Tue-La Fiesta Lounge at La Fonda Hotel, Santa Fe, 7:30/11PM, trio Howdy! Folks, Short week this week, things are rather quiet in Santa Fe, but still a lot of folks in town. We had a fantastic night at Taos Mesa Brewing last evening. The best ever in the year and a half, we’ve been playing there. Looking forward to be there again in 2016. Good to see some folks I hadn’t seen a long time. Bonnie is making progress with her companion dog. Waiting to hear from trainer. All good with me, losing some weight and trying to be more healthy. Want to be around for you good folks for a long time, I hope. Take care, and don’t forget to check our texas tour dates beginning 11/6. The tour is now posted on Facebook as well as our www.billhearne.com site. Looking forward to seeing a bunch of you folks down that way. Any of you folks in the Dallas/Ft Worth area, please take note of our one night appearance in Ft Worth at Shipping and Receiving Bar. Our appearance there last spring was marred by the devastating floods in the area. Hope for better weather this time around. Take care, and thanks for your support as always. Folks, The season is winding down here in Santa Fe, until the holidays, so we’re rather quiet this week with only three dates. They’re good ones with our regular weekly dates at the La Fiesta Lounge and our show at the Range Café in Bernalillo. We’ll be starting winters hours there this week, moving start time up to 7PM. If you’re planning on coming to Santa Fe during January of 2016, The La Fiesta Lounge will be goi9ng under major remodeling, all for the good. We’ll still be playing on Mon/Tue, but most likely in the New Mexico Room or in the portal behind the main restaurant. Dance space may be limited, but rest assured it is only temporary. Bonnie and I had the pleasure of seeing our good Don Edwards this afternoon at the NM History Museum. Don is not only a great western singer, but also a western writer and historian. He is touring a show about the NM cowboy Jack Thorpe, the first man to publish a book of cowboy songs in 1908. If you love traditional cowboy/western music, don’t miss a chance to see Don somewhere along the line. Bonnie still waiting to hear from Assistance Dogs Of The West, regarding her companion dog. We’ve don all we can, so we’re waiting to hear from them. Have a great week and hope all is well with everyone. Hope to see you soon, and thanks for your support, as always. Can’t thank our fans enough for continuing to come to the La Fiesta every week. Thanks, Bill billhearne.com bill@Billhearne.com BOOKINGS: 505-690-2514 OR bill@billhearne.com
