Mon/Tue-La Fiesta Lounge @ La Fonda Hotel, Santa Fe, 7:30/10:45, trio

Howdy! Folks,
Unfortunately, it’s a quiet week this week here in Santa Fe, although Indian Market is happening this weekend. So, that being said, come on by the La Fiesta this week and catch our show, if you’re in town.
I should have the Hearne Family Album in hand by next weeks’ La Fonda Dates. I will be picking some up from Don Richmond, when his group The Rifters perform this weekend at The Dance Station here in Santa Fe on Saturday the 19th. Any of you who pre-ordered the CD, you’ll be getting them soon. Of course we will have them at our shows beginning next week at La Fonda, if goes according to plan.
I’ll be starting my on NEW CD next week as well, on the 23rd, with Don and his Howlin Dog Records and studio in Alamosa. I am fortunate that my piano playing pal Earl Poolball, who toured with Johnny Cash for 20yrs, is vacationing in Santa Fe this month, and will be going to Alamosa with me to play on a few tracks. This CD will be a theme album, featuring songs from my heroes, notably, Buck Owens, Merle Haggard, George Jones, early Ray price, etc. Great Bakersfield and Texas dancehall stuff. As many of you might know, Buck and Merle, were my first two musical heroes, and although I have many now at 68yrs old, They still have a heavy influence on my music. Will be doing a pre-order, just as Howlin’ Dog did with the Family Album. This weill help Don, and myself to cover upfront costs for the project. I truly excited about this thing, hopefully I’ll get to do more, I wanted to make sure that I got this done, before I had to call it a career. This is going to be a “TRADITONAL COUNTRY ALBUM”, as they say, and the real stuff. I hope you’ll support the effort.
Bonnie is improving, got a good report from her orthopedic doctor this last Friday. Just stay the course, and more PT. She is still hopeful of being at the Michael Hearne Big Barn Dance Weekend, at least on Sat.
Please take care, as always thanks for supporting my music. Appreciate your love and friendship.

Sincerely,
Bill Hearne.
PS: My trio, and myself SOLO, or duo with my bassist Zeke, are always available for house concerts, parties, etc. We love doing house concerts. Any of you who might want to have us for a gathering, please me, info is below. We’ll be heading to Texas in November. I will have the Bill Hearne Trio with me for this tour.

Thanks,
Bill
