Bill’s Weekly Schedule 3/28/4/3

Mon/Tue-La Fiesta Lounge, La Fonda Hotel, 7:30/11PM, trio Sat-Solid Grounds Coffeehouse, St Stephens Methodist Church, 4601 Juan Tabo, ABQ, NM, 7PM, trio Howdy! Folks, As usual, we’re now back cookin’ in the new La Fiesta Lounge. We couldn’t be happier witht the new stage and lighting, and believe it or not, the dance floor is reconfigured, but about the same size the old area in square footage. Once the lobby is completed and hallway, dancing will be permitted there as well. Always look forward to our annual visit to Solid Grounds Coffeehouse in Albuquerque, NM. We always have a great turnout and it’s quality listening venue. No alcohol, refreshments served and good coffee. Just like a house concert. You Albuquerque fans, this is your chance to hear us in a quiet venue. Got a couple of new tunes for you this time around, plus some favorites as well. Don’t forget to consider the Rio Grande Scenic Railroad trip with Michael Hearne Shake Russell, Don Richmond of the Rifters, and myself on July 9/10. Suzy Boggus will headline their annual Mountain Rails Music Festival. The train leaves Alamosa, CO at 10:45Am each day. We stop at Fir summit, up in the Sangre De Christo Mountains in a beautiful mountain meadow with a wonderful amphitheater, BBQ and great music. Michael, Shake Don, and I will be remembering our dear friend Chuck Pyle, who played the train for many years. If you’ve followed me, you know what great fan we are of Chuck and we’ll be doing a bunch of his songs. Go to www.riograndescenicrailroad.com for all you need to know and join us this July. The trio will be making three trips to Red River, mine and Bonnie’s former residence, this summer as well. I think they are already up except for one, which the date is not settled yet, so hope you might be up that way this summer and can catch us up there. Gotta go, getting late, so take care, and thanks for listening, dancing, and just being a friend and fan. See you down the road, and Texas tour we’ll be coming soon. It’s up on the website. Bill’s Weekly Schedule 3/21/3/27

Mon/Tue-La Fiesta Lounge, La Fonda Hotel, Santa Fe, 7:30/11PM, trio Howdy! Folks, Hope all is well with all you folks, very slow week for the trio. That’s the way it is sometimes. I’d play five days a week if I could, but sometimes it just ain’t there. We’ll be at the La Fiesta this week, in reality after Dave Toland did some calculations, the dance floor is not much different from the old La Fiesta Lounge set-up. Just a different configuration, more rectangular as opposed to square. People seem to be adjusting, although I do understand some folks are not happy with the redesign. I’m enjoying the new stage and very nice lighting system. A guge improvement the little triangle we had for 24 years. Hope you’ll come and see us if you’re in the area. Waiting on one more date, hopefully we’ll this week, for our Texas tour in May. Check out the the website, billhearne.com, for the dates. Might add Dallas, Poor david’s Pub, if things work out, no guarantee on that, but we’ll see. Have a great Easter, Passover, or spring, whatever the case may be. We’ll look forward to seeing you down the road sometime soon, and thanks for your love and support. Thanks, Bill billhearne.com bill@Billhearne.com BOOKINGS: 505-690-2514 OR bill@billhearne.com

Bill’s Weekly Schedule 3/13/3/20

Mon/Tue—La Fiesta Lounge, La Fonda Hotel, Santa Fe, 7:30/11PM, trio Fri—The Range Café, Bernalillo, NM, 7:30/9:30PM, trio Howdy! Folks, Had a great week with the reopening of the remodeled La Fiesta Lounge. It’s still a work in progress, but we are at least back in our familiar spot with the trio on Mon and Tue nights. Hope you’ll come check out the new La Fiesta. The lobby and long hallway will be completed in about another month, and we’ll have more room for dancing in the La Fiesta. Your patience is appreciated, hang in there with us. This Friday, the trio will be back at the always enjoyable Range café, great food and good folks. Bob and Zeke will be with me on this date. I also wanted to thank all of you who might have attended our concert at beautiful venue in Alamosa, CO. Society Hall is a converted and refurbished Christian Science church built in the 1920’s. A group headed by my longtime friend and producer of my last three CD’s, Don Richmond, and others for buying the building investing a great deal of effort in turning into a concert venue. I look forward to doing a show there once a year, as long as I can. Sadly, Bonnie has had to abandon her plans for a companion dog. The reality regarding her health has forced to come to the conclusion, that this decision would not be in the best interest for her or the animal. A huge disappointing decision, but we agree the right one to make. She is maintaining and doing what she can these days, still singing with the Christ Church Presbyterian Chorale. We certainly appreciate your continued support, I get many questions asked about Bonnie, we appreciate all your love and concern. Be heading to Texas with the trio in early May, Still working on one date, but it’s done for the most part. Go to Facebook or my website, www.billhearne.com, it’s all there to see. Looking forward to getting out on the highway again this spring. Looks like we’;ll be going back to Texas in June, possibly the 10th, for the Kerrville Folk Festival, possibly with my nephew Michael. Stay well, and “Keep ‘er Steady” as the late Chuck Pyle always said. We’ll see you soon. Thanks, Bill billhearne.com bill@Billhearne.com BOOKINGS: 505-690-2514 OR bill@billhearne.com

Tue—La Fonda Hotel portal by the fireplace, behind La Plazuela Restaurant, Santa Fe, 6/8:30ishPM, SOLO Fri—The Range Café, Bernalillo, NM, 7:30/9:30PM, trio Howdy! Folks, Hope all is well with all of you these days. Bonnie and I are rockin’ along fine, still in search of a small companion dog for Bonnie. Had a strong candidate this week, spent the night, but just not quite right. It’s been a long road for her, but we’re not giving up. I thrilled to announce that for all of my Dallas/Ft Worth fans, that I will be doing two opening shows in march at the famous Poor David’s Pub, 1313 S Lamar, in BIG D. Fri 3/4, I’ll be opening for my pal Willis Allen Ramsey, I recorded Goodbye To Old Missoula on my latest CD. Willis recorded his landmark and only CD in 1973 for Leon Russell’s Shelter Records. It contains some classics, Muskrat Love, Northeast Texas Women, Painted Lady, Boy From Oklahoma, (song for Woody Guthrie), and on and on. Joining me will be my long time friend and former bassist from Dallas, Jon Mastin. I’ll be doing some tunes from my latest CD and all-time favorites as well. Wish I could bring the trio, but, I promise we’ll have a great show. Doors open at 7PM, come early, I imagine we’ll have a good crowd. Then on Sat, 3/5, I’ll be doing a show with my nephew, Michael Hearne and Shake Russell trio. This will be in a concert to support their first duo CD, and their first official CD party. We’ll both be joined by their co-producer Don Richmond from Alamosa, CO. The CD will be released on Don’s Howlin Dog Records label. Don has produced my last four CD projects, including the latest on Howlin Dog, All That’s Real/Bill Hearne and Friends. I’ll bring a long a few, but this is really a night for Michael and Shake. Jon Mastin and Don as well, will join me, and of course Michael and I will do some pickin together for sure. It will be a heck of a show, again doors open at 7PM. It’s been a long time since I’ve played in Dallas, and Poor David’s is a special venue that Bonnie and I have played for the last 35 years. I’ve heard several cuts from the CD, and as always with Don, it’s beautifully recorded, and Mike and Shake pickin’ and singing well. On the La Fiesta Lounge redo, we’re looking at being back, bizz as usual, on leap year day, Mon 2/29 and Tue 3/1. Very excited to be back with new stage, dance floor and bar. That’s the plan as of now, I’ll keep you informed of any changes. Stay well, and look forward to seeing you, and all you Dallas/Ft Worth folks, let’s all turn out for Michael and Shake, spread the word. Bill’s Weekly Schedule: 1/1/10

Mon/Tue-La Fiesta Lounge at La Fonda Hotel, Santa Fe, 7:30/11PM, trio Howdy! Folks, Hope everyone has a great 2016. Mine is starting off very quietly and that’s fine. Enjoying the bowl games today, and yesterday as well, although there were some lopsided wins. Anyway, hope you enjoyed bringing in the new year, however you chose to do so. Bonnie and I proudly celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary tomorrow evening. We’re very thankful that we’ve made it all these through good and very bad as well. Being in the music biz is tough for anyone, and doing it together for 25 of these 45 has been a challenge, but we still rockin’ along. Could not have done it without tremendous support from our friends, family, and extended family. Heading down to my home away from home, The La Plazuela at the La Fonda Hotel. New menu and great folks. I usually eat in the bar, so this will be a real treat for Bonnie and I. The La Fiesta Lounge will be closing after the next Tuesday, 1/5 for remodeling, as I have mentioned a number of times. The plan is to reopen by early March. In the meantime, I’ll be moving down the hallway behind the La Plazuela Restaurant at La Fonda by the fireplace and entryway to the New Mexico Room. Nice place to come sit by the fire and listen to some of my more folk/Americana tunes. I’ll play from 6/8:30ish with one break, so stop by and say hello. We’re not totally abandoning you dancers, so make note of the following dates that the Bill Hearne Trio will be doing dances in the New Mexico Room: Mon 1/25, Mon 2/8/22/29. All dances will be from 7/10PM. There will be a bar, tables, and dance floor, so all will not be lost. Also working on, but done, is a couple of Thursdays at Tiny’s Lounge here in Santa Fe, basically at S St Francis and Cerrillos Rd. Hope to know about these dates soon. I’ll let you know ASAP. I’ll also be working on our next Texas, hopefully Oklahoma trip soon, as the holidays are over with on Monday. Tought to do business this time of year as so many fols are out of pocket so to speak. Please take care, and stay well. Great to see so many great folks over the holidays at our Santa Fe shows at the La Fiesta. Hope you know, how much I appreciate your ongoing friendship and support. We’ll be at the La Fiesta, between my years with Bonnie, and my trio days, 24 years on Feb 8th, which will be a trio night dance. See you soon, peace in 2016 to all.
